My skin just loves exfoliation… The reason why is that, is because, it helps to bring healthy glow to the skin, removing dead skin cells. As well it helps to smooth the skin. Exfoliation can be achieved through mechanical or chemical process. Today we will talk about mechanical.
One of my favourite exfoliators for face is Germaine De Capuccini Exfoliating Scrub. This product has got a really intense menthol formula and when removing dead skin cells it gives you an invigorating experience. I exfoliate my skin on my face at least once/twice a week in the evening (usually on Saturday). First I wash my face, then tone and afterwards exfoliate starting with décolleté, neck and then face where I stretch my ‘smiling lines’ around my lips, eyes and ‘worrying lines’ on my forehead… If your skin is really dry or sensitive, you might be better off to apply this exfoliator as a mask, leaving on for about 10-15min. Afterwards I rinse it off, dry out my skin and tone.

When it comes to the body exfoliation, one of my favourite body exfoliators is Germaine De Capuccini Phytocare Oil Tonic Scrub with Baobab Seed Oil full of Omegas and Vitamins as well as Baobab seed shells to gently eliminate dead cells. This exfoliator is very nourishing, hydrating, soothing with powerful antioxidants.
The best way to use it is to apply on the dry skin starting from the feet and working upwards in circular movements. Afterwards you can buff it off or rinse with warm water.
*Tip: Don’t use any shower gel when rinsing off because shower gel removes everything from the skin and we want to keep nourishing ingredients for as long as possible on the skin.
This is an award wining product and safe to use during pregnancy.

Germaine De Capuccini products are not tested on animals and they are paraben free with CO2 Zero Certificate.

Enjoy!
